Ski goggle rash

Any one out there ever get a rash from their goggles? I'm wondering if some goggles are better than others. My daughter got a horrible rash from my old pair the other day. then from another older pair she tried. We are wondering if it's something to do with old foam?
 
just buy some new gogs. the only time i've ever had trouble with goggle foam was when i wore a really old pair last year for our ski carnival... my face turned kinda red. ditch that old foam and put some new gogs on your dome!

that was the gayest thing i've ever said.
 
when my new spy soldier's foam gets wet it almost feels like it is cutting my face and it leaves some red marks. that could be happening to her.
 
I'm only guessing, but it is probably dirty/sweaty foam or the strap is way too tight. Good luck.
 
I'd just score some new gogs, if you just need basic ones they aren't gonna cost ya more than like 30-35 bucks and will be way more comfy.
 
yeah, maybe pass a cleaning sterile thing across it, i dunno what the sterile cleaning this is called, but if you need some i got a box of em downstairs
 
Yes, I have a daughter! Actually I have two! They are ski racers and the younger one is one of the fastest in the country. It's such an expensive sport that I don't want to be running out to buy new goggles if we can get away with the old ones. I'm way into skiing of all kinds and just started a website called www.snowlist.com It's a free classifieds site for the Mtn community of Utah and we hope to add other states along the way. Maybe one day we'll even have a forum too!
