Ski Friends

so, are the people you hang out with in school (if your still in school) the same people you ski with? or do you have two groups of friends?

I have one friend who I ski with and hang out with in school, but all my other ski people go to different schools and we just meet up at the mountain
 
yeah for the most part, but like all my friends are in the same group people who dont ski and people who do
 
well back in High school, yeah I had two groups of friends the ones I skied with often and those who I skied with occasionally. Funny thing is those two groups were polar opposites of each other (one group drank and smoked a lot, and the other didn't drink at all and didn't smoke at all and both were fun to hang with, I'll let you guess which is which) and some how I managed to live well in both of them. But now in college, my off mountain / regular friends are also my on mountain friends.
 
I have basically one group of friends and a section of those friends are the ones i ski with.
 
I have my hometown friends whom I don't ski with because even if they do ski/snowboard, they're god-aweful at it, and then my ski friends, who are from all over New England (actually primarily just VT).
 
i don't think there's a single person in my school who i would ski with, i know one kid who can do a 5 but other than that nobody skis
 
no one in my school skis park any good. my main ski friend is home schooled tho. so at school I have my skating friends
 
The friends at school that I ski with aren't very good except for one kid who pwns all with double corks haha but he's going to winter academy next year, so there will be this one kid who can do 7s and a couple good snowboarders. My friends I ski with are friends I had in racing who quit and went into freestyle like me.
 
i prefer the friends i ski with. i got like 2 school friends the rest of the kids in my school are straight up h-o-m-o.
