he is about 4'10" and 105 lbs and skis almost all groomers

he is only 10 so he has only been skiing about 8 times.

im not necessarily looking for a twintip for him, but will consider all skis.

he probably wont be doing any park, but may try a jump or two.

he is a genuine nube and is still on the bunny hills practicing his hockey stops but will probably progress significantly each season.

our budget is $180

so far, my main considerations are the '07 dynastar junior team legend in a 140 or the '08 troubled youth in a 148, because of the lost running length in a twin tip.

149 juvy? i dont really know, just a suggestion. They were my first ski when i started an i was like 5'0"

i got a 151 pair of salomom 1080's with s810ti bindings. i could give em to ya for $130 plus shipping with bindings. mounted at center. pretty beat but skiable and tunable. no major scratches in base or topsheet. the bindings are the best part of these skis...

why is it that everyone's first skis have marked bindings? like every single one. i dont really care, it doesnt effect me, but it strikes me as a bit wierd.
