Ski equipment

This is a rant. I have been skiing on 4 different brands of skis for the last three seasons; Dynastar, Line, K2, and Salomon. Not one pair of these skis has lasted over 2 months. My first pair of twintips, the original Line Skogen Sprang Pros, delaminated on both the tips and tails of both skis and then broke in half. They were warrantied and then sold. With that money I bought Dyanstar Concepts. Those skis lasted 2 months before the edges fell off and then the tails snapped. They were warrantied and the second pair had the similar problem. I then purchased Pocket Rockets. THMy Pocket Rockets lasted a grand total of 2 weeks before the tails both snapped. THey are being warrantied and I have not heard back from Salomon in over 2 months. With no park skis I was forced to buy the cheapest skis on the market... old K2 enemies. Never used, these skis lasted just over a week before they delaminated and snapped. Now I have no skis, and no money. I am lead to believe that ski companies specifically design twintip skis to fall apart as fast as possible.. hopefully just after the warranty expires. Are there any skis on the market that will last an entire season, under normal to heavy use?

you know, i had enemies, and now im on pocket rockets and ive never had a problem with either of them. I now that k2s delam often but i think you may be abusing your skis or are just plain bad at rails. I now that my skis get dinged up because i ski hard on them, but when you work hard for your money but aint got alot, you gotta learn to take it easier on your equipment to make it last. good luck getting some new boards.

Shit dude how hard are you skiing these things? It sounds like you are either landing wrong or just charging the shit out of the mountain. Either way, some people are just prone to breaking skis, Ive never seen anyone do it, nor have I ever done it myself, and I dont exactly stick to the kiddie park. Its too bad the industry can come up with more durable skis.

1. Are you really fat?

2. You should try using your skis on snow instead of concrete.

3. Don't rail slide anything made of cement

i don't know what your problem is... but, dude, that blows, the only ski i can think of that may withstand your beatings are the PEs... they have double thick edges and are well built... the sides of the top sheet will kinda chip and shit, but nothing other than cosmetic... also the rivets in the tips ane tails prevent delaming...

You'll probably snap em eventually, but they are your best bet.

It's hard to make a ski that will stand up to the monstrous amount of abuse that we freestylers give our skis.

i dunno dude it sounds like you either beat things with your skis on your off time or you just have horrible luck and should kill yourself... but anyway this is a quote about the Armada AR5's strait from the freeskier site so maybe you ought try em out

As far as quality goes, the team riders are praising the Armada skis. 'I've been riding Armada prototypes since last February or March, and I haven't broken a pair yet,' says Anthony Boronowski. J.P. explains the power of Anthony's words: 'Anthony tests skis more hardcore than anybody. If you give him a pair of skis, and they last a couple of months, then you know the skis are gnarly enough to last forever with normal people.'

Whoever thought 'gee i wonder if i can ride down an icy hill with wooden planks strapped to my feet?' is a genius...

yah man I do. I only wish I could do the X'd up 720s that you brag about in your bio . What does X'd up mean to you anyway? Is it the same as the X-treme skiing that you do. why don't you go bail on some more of those X'd up 720's you do and then tell me who sucks, bitch.
