This is a rant. I have been skiing on 4 different brands of skis for the last three seasons; Dynastar, Line, K2, and Salomon. Not one pair of these skis has lasted over 2 months. My first pair of twintips, the original Line Skogen Sprang Pros, delaminated on both the tips and tails of both skis and then broke in half. They were warrantied and then sold. With that money I bought Dyanstar Concepts. Those skis lasted 2 months before the edges fell off and then the tails snapped. They were warrantied and the second pair had the similar problem. I then purchased Pocket Rockets. THMy Pocket Rockets lasted a grand total of 2 weeks before the tails both snapped. THey are being warrantied and I have not heard back from Salomon in over 2 months. With no park skis I was forced to buy the cheapest skis on the market... old K2 enemies. Never used, these skis lasted just over a week before they delaminated and snapped. Now I have no skis, and no money. I am lead to believe that ski companies specifically design twintip skis to fall apart as fast as possible.. hopefully just after the warranty expires. Are there any skis on the market that will last an entire season, under normal to heavy use?
