Wow, this thing got pretty heated fast.
I don't understand why people are getting so worked up. SkiEpic is a cheap trip into Quebec that looks like its going to be a good time.
I think this is a good example of how overblown things get on the internet. I know you guys wouldn't have this argument in real life. In the end, we all ski.

Guys its like this, we do live in the maritimes and it is one of the best spots in the world. we have athletes here that want to train and improve, these are the people that must keep focussed on just that. we also have the older generation of cats like me. im not trying to set records or learn all the tricks when on snow, but still have a passion to improve and be competitive. we have people and our scene that are also experience skiers (good skiers, really good skiers) like jeremy, thor, and wu that may not have the urge to set up a kink with kink snow, but have the knowledge and experience to enhance our scene. we need a strong scene..no doubt.
regarding this trip, from day one i noticed critical remarks to potential prospects for the trip from the organizers, this is questionable when a profit will most likely be turned, isn't it? with everything my close friend ferg said, i think he is bored spending alot of loney nights in labador, but we some of his thoughts were valid, we love you ferg. jeremy and zach do not put themselves on a peddlestle, i know those guys and they are not in that mindframe at all, they know a good party and are social people...the trip will be what it is said to be, their promotion tactics on this particular form a questionable tthouhg....con't

we need to look at this and take a stride forward and work together as we proclaimed doing. a guy (that i view as one of the smartest guys i know) once told me , "lets just see how we all work together". before we all start working together though, maybe we all need to figure out what we want to be in this ski scene and then move on.
