Adobe Premiere Pro CC. Lot's of creative room to create whatever you want. Plus seamless integration with other Adobe products like After Effects. However if you're only looking to cut clips together with music, iMovie may work better. Premiere can have a big learning curve if you've never really used editing software.
 
If you want free do the combo of hitfilm 4 express for putting in clips + slomo + music and davinci resolve for everything else. The reason I don't do only resolve is because it's a bit unresponsive sometimes on my computer.
