I'm not going to do your homework for you [edit it] plus sending those large of files or hosting them would be a bitch.

But here are a few pointers :

1) Be original. It is really easy to put the same song everyone else has used on, while wearing the same thing they are. But it is difficult to do your own thing. But why even bother making an edit if it isn't memorable? People will remember the original and forget the cliches.

2) Be unoriginal. A bit counterproductive but you should use what works with other edits. I don't mean with music choice or style. But with editing and flow. Again you want to be original but don't be obnoxious. Use editing techniques that have been tried for large parts of your edit.

3) Music. Youtube will be your best friend here. Try to find something that has great flow, will be good for pacing, filler shots, and the bulk of the content. You will also want to watch for youtube to recognize the content. If there is a title bar below the youtube recognizing that song, don't use it. You don't want ad's all over your video and if it blows up you won't want any issues with youtube and that copyright content. Better to plan ahead. Here are a few I think would be great for edits but haven't been used very heavily. But it all matters on your style of skiing and if the music will enhance it or just seem out of place.

4) Editing. Comeing from a guy who spends way too much time on computers. USE A MAC. I don't say that about anything else but video. It will save you so much trouble. Download mpeg streamclip > convert to AIC > edit in Final Cut Pro. Export using quicktime conversion and you will save so much of a headache!!! DONT UPLOAD UNLESS IT FILLS THE SCREEN IT LOOKS BAD AND CHEAP IF YOU DON'T. You don't want others to feel like you didn't put much time into making it. Or they won't devote their time to watching it.

5) Premeditate but don't interfere. It's a ghood idea to have an idea of what your edit will look like but go with the flow. You can only visualize so much. Everything affects the way your edit will turn out including : weather, people, lighting, location, time of the day, tricks, flow, etc etc etc. There are only about a billion variables. Prepare but let it flow a bit.

That's about all the advice I can give.

Oh yeah I'm feeling that one. I've heard it used somewhere before but it's not overused at all. And IDK how it will work with your edit. I like music that kind of matches the mood of the edit.

Check out some of my videos on youtube and you'll see what I'm talking about.
