Ski Edges Are Sharp

So, im heading up to my local skishop to get my bindings mounted, and i run into trouble. I pull in and im with my friend(who's not the smartest person). We are getting out of the car, and i go and get my boots and bindings and he grabs my skis. Im still looking in the car and i hear him drop my ski. I think "Great. Chipped before I even get to use them." So i look up at him and i see him holding his foot. i look down before it starts bleeding and i see a gaping wound andout 3/4 of an inch long, and 1/2 an inch wide all of which happened because the edge hit his foot. He starts bleeding everywhere. to keep sopping up the blood, he takes of his undershirt and put its on. He calls his mom and i now have to take him back home (30 min away)so he can get to the ER. We get home and they leave for the ER. so, im sitting in their driveway with skis not mounted and less gas in my car than before. But, he got 5 stiches out of it.
 
i remember two years ago on the blackcomb glacier, some guy slit his wrist in the half pipe going for a grab. after they took him out, there was a rather huge puddle of blood left behind. They also had his wrist raised up, and you could see the blood pulsing out with heartbeats...it was gnarly.
 
i just so happen to be that "not so smart friend" and i just want to clarify that those edges really are sharp but on the way back to my house i did manage to draw a smiley face on the windshield with my bloody foot :)

yeh when i got my chronics i was carrying them sepreatley and they cut my fucking hands like mad....

and then half way through the season my tips and tails were still sharp...i hit this battleship box and this fucking knuckle dragger behind me was creeping up my ass... i told him ot back off but he didnt listen...i bailed at the end...and he landed right on me...fell...and cut the arm of his brand new oakley jacket wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide open...i looked at him while he was freaking out and i told him..."i told you so dude"

i cut my hands on my new 176's, i barely slid my hands down them to get a better grip to get them out of the truck, and i guess it was enough.
 
your friend is a pussy if he needed to go to the ER for that

some hydrogen peroxide and butterfly bandages would have saved him 2 hours and like 300 bucks.
 
I hate canadian ER. we got into a little car accident with my cousins where everybody got out with no problem but the cars were fucked. I had the worst injusry which was a nosebleed because my chaincame up and hit me in my nose. it stopped after like 3 minutes and it didnt hurt.

my cousins father who is super hard headed wanted his son to be checked out at the ER. so we went there (we got there at 10:30 PM) we were along with 3 other people in the waiting room.

long story short we wated there from 10:30PM until 8:30 AM because my uncle is super hard headed and it was free. if it wasnt free people who have the sniffles wouldnt go to the emergency room, or twited ankles and tons of other shit like that.
 
i did the exact same thing i was in my shop and i saw some red stains on the bases then i realized i sliced my thumb

 
nope no exagerations of any kind. we sat there. watched TV, I told his father that it wasnt a bad accident, he told his father he was fine, my dad came in told him he was being unreasonable, but he said no were staying and we did (me and my other cousin didnt want to leave our third cousin to wait alone with his father so we waited too.

at around 3:00 AM a girl was carried in by her friends she llked like if she was ODing. but thats about it. finally at like 7:45 my cousin was able to go see a doctor, and he came out at 8:30 when we could finally leave. because he had nothing
 
thats right below his ass....like right where your ass cheek meets your thigh. that wound is monster. he had to get like 2 layers of staples or something. all from his ski popping off and him landing on it
