S: ON3P

A: Moment, K2, Volkl

B: Vishnu, Black Crow, Armada, Jskis

C: 4Front, Blizzard, Rossi, Atomic, Dynastar, Salomon

D: Surface, DPS

F: Line

List based on personal experience. Feel free to agree

If your fave manufacturer isn't here, it's because they're not relevant

A on3p

B jskis

C armada

D 1000

E vishnu

F line

G line

H line

I line

J line.

Buddy o mine bought fana alparcas and so far seem very well built but to early to judge.

I've only tried surfaces never dailyed them or owned a pair but I've been told by several people they aren't very good.

K2s seem to hold up but imo they make super boring skis I've tried countless models and they all feel almost the same.

How many pairs you've had? My 2022 Prodigy3.0's have 110ish days on them and they're in better shape than all of my skis before those (2x dollo, revolt95, wreckoner102) on their 30th day. Might be a coincidence but probably not.

K2 D tier, but poachers specifically are S tier

K2 before reckoners was S tier :(. Something went wrong with those skis.

Also in my experience atomic and rossi hold up at least as well as armada.

Ranking skis by company doesnt make much difference. It’s mostly where they’re produced and at what time- same thing goes for skateboards in my experience. It gets tricky when companies send half their line of skis to be made in asia and the other half in europe, you’re likely to notice a difference in quality and product longevity between these two places.

Any ski made in the czech republic around 2012-2016 were made to last longer than your ACL’s as long as you kept skiing them. I‘ve had good experience with skis made in Austria as well.

You got lucky I guess, always heard the infamous was infamous for breaking super fast.

my homie has a pair of blends that have skied for 4 seasons (that’s weird) and my other friend breaks a pair in about a month (typical). Ya never know.

Anything out of the never summer factory is A status or higher. Fatypus, icelantic, etc

I was going to say this exact comment. I think ON3P is for sure the most durable build but all of the skis out of the Never Summer factory are extremely close.

I've had my prodigy 3's for 4 years and put them through hell without any serious wear; still haven't filled a core shot or had any delam. I'd like to make a case for B

I think every ski can be durable in a sense as long as it was built properly. Unfortunately when they’re mass produced error is present.

faction had massive durability issues with the Candide line. When I was working for junior freeride tour most of the kids riding them were going through 4+ pairs a year.

I bombshelled a cliff on a spring day. Maybe 20 footer, and blew out every single edge for about 10 inches under the binding on my buddies 3.0s. They were damn fun spring skis though. Tons of playfulness in them.

Both my Surface Live Life 2 and New Life's were absolutely bombproof. Maybe a bit of top sheet chipping, but otherwise amazing. Sold both of them and miss both of them...

Yeah, that's how things were for the CT line in the years back. Haven't witnessed it myself but the reputation speaks for itself. Nowadays their quality seems to be the perfect opposite, which was a genuine worry & surprise for me when buying my first pair a year ago. The current pair seems indestructible and I've got a fresh pair waiting for their turn. Eager to see if they hold up as well as the first one.

Their first few lines of skis broke quickly

That’s a bummer cuz the allplay is poacher tier durable. Most of my friends on allplays hit street and ride park so god damn much and their skis last so god damn long

I think k2 tried making the reckoners lighter which completely fucked them. My shredditors are easily the most bombproof ski I've owned, beating out on3p. My reckoners are the least durable ski I've owned, by far.

The old CTs were fragile for sure. I wanna say the 2020 models and after got a much needed revamp. Changed the core and beefed it up a bit. Also moved away from being a full symmetrical ski. The faction warranty policy is absolutely unreal though.

Had armadas they barely lasted a season, testing out surface rn so far so good

Were they made in Austria or China? I have some Austrian made BDogs from 2016 that I used as my main park ski for like 2.5 years and have yet to edge crack. Fuckers are insanely durable. Seems like Armada QC has gone downhill lately. I remember seeing an ARV that was the same thickness at the tip as underfoot.

I had 2 pairs of Da'nollies and a pair of nomad 95s. I absolutely loved them as a ski, but I snapped both pairs of da'nollies. One in the nose of the ski, the other pair in the tip. I dont weigh much either.
