Ski drills

What are some drills or activities to improve (freestyle) skiing you can do at home or elsewhere without snow?

You can practice 3s and similar stuff on flat ground, with or without ski boots. For certain rail tricks you can get the ski addiction jib tube but it’s pretty expensive. I’ve also heard you can run up and rotate onto a skateboard while keeping momentum and that kinda helps with 270 on or off. For big air a trampoline is all you need.

Over the summer I taped some ski blades to a pair of shoes and just started jibbing everything. Eventually I built a janky ass summer setup with some turf.

I used to piss off my mom by practicing nosebutters on the carpet in my house lol (please do this outside on the grass instead lol). Taught me how to actually get up on the noses instead of just flexing my calves off

Also, jumping onto a firm foam roller kind of feels like balancing on a tube

Get a pair of sled dogs and a pvc pipe, fr feels like hitting a rail.

Find thick pvc pipe, cut in half (half moon shape), put on mellow grass hill, step onto it. Great way to learn swaps and 2s out
