Alright so I was thinking of painting my 1080s so tell me what you think about this :

I paint the entire ski black, and get Crime Scene tape from a cop I know and put a strip of it fitting from top to bottom and stick it on and then put some layers of clear coat over it so it stays and is like inside the ski... good or bad?

yea, like above and below the ribbon, where it wont cover, put like a chalk outline of a guy or sumthing so it looks like its on the other side of the tape or sumthing else like the gun idea. or a chalk outline with a gun in the hand

i have a hard time picturing it actually working.. i have seen it been done with magazine cutouts but i doubt that the ribbon would stay on after a clear coating

^That was exactly what I was thinking. You could do it with paper, etc... but that tape stuff, I'm not so sure about. Still, try it, let us know how it works.
