hey my tip off my 01 teneightys got broken off a little while ago and the skis delaminated about 3 inches down from the tip, ive put new tips on and epoxied and stuff but the tips just fall off and the ski delams again. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this another way or is it all over for my skis?

Along those lines hows the new madtrix perform on the whole mountain and in the park?

 
bummer i cant help u but this kid i know his skis are completly on two parts exxept where the bindings are he says the flpping mkes him fly

ya i had the same problem with the 1080s. they were last years models. i had them out for 7 times. i just took them back. it sounds like salomon isnt making any good ski equipment any more

 
sounds like they're done. they're 2001? look into getting new skis. i'm suprised they haven't turned into noodles yet...

Fucking sucks when your skis delam my rossignols had that problem and i just took them back and got a new pair under warrenty

This is what the tips of my old 1080's looked like after 5 years of skiing in the midwest.

They're my frankenstein skis so-to-speak. There's knots on the side to hold the edges on. Copper rivets, and don't ask me what the fuck that silver thing is but it works. Also, massive amounts of duct tape, followed by massive amounts of eletrical tape does wonders for tip probs. Epoxy does jack shit. I don't care if you have industrial strength military use only epoxy, it will not work. I also converted them to K2's because they run just like em, shitty.
