Sorry guys but flying is objectively more fun than sliding on metal. Non park skiers don't want to do blind 2s off the down flat, they want to do a backflip off a jump. Theres a reason jumps get you laid and rails dont.

I think a lot of people would say that rails are way more fun, myself being one of them. I don't fucking ski to get laid, i ski to have fun.

I don't wanna shit on rails cause I still think they're sick, I just don't like doing them. To each their own.

when i was like 10 I tried to go off in The woods to piss and i had to go so bad that i started going while i was tried to unzip my jacket and take off my suspender snowpants and after a few seconds of pissing in my pants i just said fuck it, and unloaded my entire bladder in my ski clothes.

it felt warm though.

I hate detuning edges because I hate to destroy a ski. This has reduced my rail game and led to frustration the last few years. I’m going to have to just sacrifice a ski. I’ve already started with one in my quiver but it still hurts. Also detuning by hand takes FOREVER with the detune I’m used to.

When i listen to music i imagine myself in an edit. All the clips are there in my head, including the ski lift time lapse and the clipping into my bindings shot. such a sick edit every time, unfortunately i can't do any of the tricks i imagine and I hate waiting around to do filming so i never get to make these edits

I do this too.

Of course I imagine myself doing things that I actually can't do.

I had the exact opposite experience. snowboarded for 5 years and went back to skiing because I was much better at it in the park and thus had more fun
