Ski Company with the Greatest Influence

So how do you know they suck? Solid theory there friendo. Line makes a great product and is by far one of the most influencial companies out there.
 
Im going with recently here so i would say K2 Corp and now Jarden Corp, and this being because K2 Corp made the move to build on what they had with K2 Skis, and bought the then Up & coming Line, and then made the purchase of Volkl, and Marker along with the purchase of Full Tilt. You put all the athletes that ride for K2, Line, Volkl, Marker & Fulltilt you have some of the best skiers i the history of the sport for instance, Pep, Shane, Seth, Sean P, Pollard. The fact that they were all owned by K2 ski corp and now Jarden corp means that they have access to the top of the line materials, technology. K2's current technology with rocker seems to be changing the game. With out K2 corp you probably would not have a lot of the skis we take for granted today. Just my opinion.
 
well, in their early years their skis were short, soft, and seamed to break kind of easy.

today - their skis do seam to be built better (kind of - now that they are owned by K2 - another company where since they moved their factory from Seattle to China I wouldn't buy their skis anymore)... I ski on a 186-190 stiff pow ski... Line skis (as well as K2 for that matter) doesn't make a ski stiff enough, nor long enough for me.

Remember, me saying they suck is an opinion, and my opinion is valid based on what I WANT out of a ski. Line just doesn't make a ski that I want to put under my feet. So yes, I would say my theory is quite solid. Also - I agree about them being the most influential, as I stated in my first post, I just don't like their skis. Never have, probably never will.

 
Salomon and K2 have both been around for forever, but I think Armada and Line are the "next generation" so to speak, I see so many people shredding Line/Armada skis now its crazy, and Armada has a stacked pro team, and Line has Andy Parry. . .Nuff said
 
definitely monster/redbull for any action sport without energy drinks alot of comps except for xgames would never have come aboutpretty much every big athlete in skiing or snowboarding is sponsored by one of them
