If you are talking best as in most skis sold it would be K2 by a long shot...If you are talking most skis produced it would be Fischer who is the largest producer of skis in the world. They make 30% of Salomons skis even! Fischer also is highest quality, where rossignol is near the bottom on quality. Atomic is pretty solid as well as Volkl too.

 
Rossignol isn't at the bottom for quality. If you've ever riden Bandit B3 you'd know they are the sickest pow ski. Their race skis are solid, and beleive me, well respected. Sure they do make some crappy skis, like the Axium skis. That to sell cheap shit to beginers. Can't put a begginer on an aggresive ski, they'd die. Rossi makes a good product.

'ALL ROUND SKI COMPANY' this entails all aspects of skiing, not just freeskiing, this excludes companies like Armada and 4FRNT since the only skis they make are freeride skis (which isn't a bad thing) however I'd have to agree that Atomic and Rossi are the two best overall companies even though I must say that the Quality of Rossi's product (ie durability) isn't up to par with Atomic.

Rossignol shouldn't even be mentioned in this thread. They are the biggest pushers of crap skis in the world. 'THC CORE?', whoever buys into that crap needs to learn a thing or two about ski construction - FOAM SUCKS!! Their pro skis are so far removed from what they sell on the wall, they shouldn't even be called the same model.

ALL their skis are notorius for falling apart, seriously, they're like the drug dealers of the industry.

An 'all-around' company to me represents the one with the most durable ski, the best warranty, highest quality materials, and best customer service, which to me is 4FRNT. Not to mention they're the only company built in the USA!

 
Has anyone heard the some grumblings about K2 possibly buying Lange and/or another company(maybe vokl)? Could be rumors, but I heard things.

whoever said armada and 4frnt are retards, how are they the best all around ski? they are specifically for freeskiing...

 
Atomic! I have a pair of beta race 9.22's for GS and they are absolutely the best! Atomic makes the best skis for racing no matter the type! I hear the aft series is really good as well.

I NEED SNOW UNDER MY FEET AND NOW!
 
everyone seems to have frogotten about HEAD. but i will go with atomic. there new skis r wierd though. not the aft line there other kinds of skis. there like 130 tip 70 waist and 90 tail. not kiddin i was at a pk.

ElGato, Atmoic makes a freestyle ski. The Tweak and the Stomp. They just aren't as common as others.

Being out there skiing every day, good or bad, just playing around with friends, with no contests or filming- that is the real spirit of skiing for me. that is why i started skiing, and if i lose those moments that is what will make me stop skiing.
