Ski comp 18th in charlottetown

Friday Feb 17th Day 1 = Registration and open jam. Try the hits out before you compete.

Saturday Feb 18th Day 2 = Intermediate and ski comp begins at 1:00 pm

Sunday Feb 19th Day 3 = Advanced comp begins at 1:00 pm

so the comp is on saturday the 18th. registration is on friday or you can register early at www.ols.ca

its at peaks quae or what ever the fuck you call it, the waterfront in charlottetown would be better because its not spelled like a retard thinks. anyway. post questions and if your planing on going or not it should be a good time. oh and OLS rented a snow machine so there should be plenty of it, i drove by today after the rain and there was a good sized hill. i will post more info when i hear about it

Rail jam Feb 17th-19th

thsi comp will be located on water street in between teh tourist info centre and teh new magic 93 radio station in teh open lawn there.

Feb 17th will be a registrationan and chance for anyone to try the rails out before tehy compete.

Feb 18th will be a freestyle ski and intermediate snowboard event starting at 1:00

Feb 19th the main event a $1500 cash prize up for grabs.

helmets will be mandatory and there will be a $10.00 entry fee

we have 2 sick rails build just for this comp, 1 is about 18 feet flat rail and about a 28foot flat down rail, shoudl be good snow or no snow we have a snow maker rented so we can make enough at night when it is cold to make this happen.
 
the FSNS guys will be in quebec competing. shitty, sounds good. seems like the skiers dont get a shot at the $1500 though....mmmmmm....i guess they know that a skier would take it!!!
 
sweet! theres going to be benches (like the big ones....bleachers ya!) for people to sit i guess. i was talking to the guy that is shaping the whole thing today and theres going to be a flat down, the flat single berrel from the skatepark if anyone has been there(rollerblade rail as its called around here) and a berrel bonk on top of a 1/4 at the end with a 30ft drop in, at least its that big now. they are making it higher too. brett(OLS owner) said there was going to be a table top there too but im not sure. it didnt look like there was going to be one today.

it should be a good fucking time and i think everyone should come and suport the scene on pei and the maritimes in general!
 
ya you can register early or come friday and register then and get some practice on the rails that day too. the skiing comp is saturday at 1 maybe???? dont quote me on that. i was at the setup today and it looks good. flat rail and flat-down that looks sick as hell. the drop in is huge for how little snow there is on the ground. it looks pretty wierd. anyway. umm so ya. skiing prizes i dont know, i will try to find out. THERES NO TABLE TOP. just so everyone is aware. oh i will be in halifax sunday to tuesday or wednseday so if anyone is jibbing anywhere make a thread or something, call me even(902)394-1111 ask for Ben. crazy number eh? im happy about it. fuck im starting to go on. im out.

ya man it should be a good time, i dont think they are keeping it up because the town is gay. i just wish they would keep it up and even charge 2 or 3 bones to get in. its stupid. ah well, they might bring them to brookvale so i dont know. what ever they do ill post it
