I think usc is really far from mammoth but they're 1hr 30 from Mountain high and 2hrs from Bear Mountain.

colorado college, middlebury, dartmouth, colby, bates, bowdoin to name a few. even boston area schools arent so bad if you have a place to stay for the weekend.

Totally serious. I've got friends who go to all three of those and ski every weekend because their school rents them a cabin in Truckee for the entire winter + pays for gas.

k well those are by no means in any way ski colleges cool they get to ski on weekends but thats 2 days a week thats shitty then youd miss out on the entire week....

I'm a dean's-list sophomore in engineering physics and applied math, and I am on my second paid research position here. I run with a delightful crowd of both stoners and high-level intellectuals. There are a lot of very smart people here, along with fantastic academic opportunities, you just gotta not let yourself get sucked into the party scene.

Think what you want. They are all respectable schools, the ski teams there rack up a considerable amount of days on the mountain, and they party hard.
