Ski colleges

avoid CU, just hippies and long drives to over crowed resorts. go for western state, CB is awesome and with gas prices at $5/gal you wont be able to afford to drive 180 miles a day to ski with a $375 season pass.

UVM for northeast, one of the sickest schools out there. hot girls. good (eastern) skiing. vermont dopeness. burlington sickness.

U of U, Salt Lake City. Alta 673" 07/08. Nough Said.

Boulder. Sick school. Tight town (much like burlington, vt. Downtown designed by same firm, mirror images of eachother). Skiing to far away.

All the hate on DU and CU is pointless. They obviously have no idea what they're talking about. I go to DU and love it. If you're proactive wiht getting your work done, you'll have way more than enough time to ski, party or w/e else floats your boat. I've almost got 50 days of skiing and will be skiing until school gets out here in early June at A Basin and the backcountry. If you leave early enough, even on the weekends, you can get to A Basin in about an hour 10 min., keystone another 15-20 minutes from there, and breck another 15-20 minutes from there. Vail is pretty far to get to but if you leave early enough you can make it in about two hours give or take a few.

CU was too big for me (just personal preference) and similar price for out of states as DU turned out to be for me coming from California.
