Ski Colleges?

In the midwest it's Michigan tech, It actually owns it's own ski hill, nothing too huge, but the park has a 50-60 foot jump, a few others, lot's of snow, and a really cool scene. Plus mount bohemia is 30 mins away, and that place is sick.

I got to Montana State University in Bozeman, Bridger Bowl is 15 min away and most people absoluty love it. I cant stand bridger, so I ski at big sky witch is like an hour away and i love it, and Moonlight basin is on the same mountain which is also sick, and really cheap, only problem is moonlight doesnt have a park. There is also alot of backcounry around. I choose MSU only because of the skiing and I dont regret it for one minute

if you want a really good education you're gonna have to compromise big time on the skiing, and if you want good skiing you're gonna have to compromise on the schooling.

fuck that, i have an A- average and get 65 days a year, I could get more skiing by sacraficing school, but 65 days aint bad, and keep in mind i only skied like 3 days over all winter break because back home we didnt open till just before i came back so i should have had like 80-90 days

Montana State is probably the best college you can go to for skiing and it is a fun ass school. It also has a bomb business and film school.

umass amherst is where i'm at...45 minutes from mount snow, but UVM is in the foot hills of killy, like 10 minute drive and ur there

COLORADO MOUNTAIN COLLEGE!!!!!!!..it has places all over colardo at badass resorts....check that shit out

fuck that shit.

what the hell does that even mean? "really good education"?

A lot of employers look more for work experience and performance records while you're IN college, not what college you went to. albeit, you graduate from business school, you graduate with a business degree.

besides, wouldn't you rather look back on your life, and say damn, i spent college doing what i loved, instead of saying damn i have a great job, but i really wish i could have made the best of my tuition money.

that's my rant. and it's a damn good one.

i see your point about when you look back and say i did what i love but if you get a sick ass job from a sick school then you can look back and be like i worked my ass of for a little but now i have like 3 houses and i can go sking everyday

u belive u can earn a degree in ski industires at universtiy of utah and sierera nevada colledge

how hard is it to get in to universiy of utah or universtiy of montana, also at university of untah are they all mormon

this kid has no clue what he's talking about. I live 15 minutes away from killington, and UVM is like an hour and a half to the north.

but...come to Colby, we're only an hour and 10 minutes away from sugarloaf

maybe

i just don't think you'll compromise a greater job opportunity for going to a school near a ski hill

western washington university = great school near mt baker

santa clara university = great school, private, not close to a ski hill

do you really think you're going to get a better job if you chose scu?

a degree is a degree in most cases

hands down its sierra nevada college in incline vlliage. its right on lake tahoe with 15 resorts within a 45 in drive at your disposal. including sugar bowl, squaw, heavenly, northstar etc etc. theres also unr.

Not as a student, thats why alot of People Like to go to Santa Barbara for college. Extremely high cost of living but they can afford it as a student. I checked out Vancouver living exspenses online and they aren't too bad compared to my area (and I don't live in some fancy uptown area at all).

u of utah fuckin rocks i love it here, get to ride all day 5 days a week, goto school only 2 days a week gotta love 4 day weekends every week and riding pow all the time, mhmmm

I am going to U of Arizona. I will just fly to all the best resorts on the continent. So I get the warmth and sunshine during school, and the best skiing when I am skiing.

My bad, I just recognized Dartmouth. UBC would probably be sweet, but I would never go to school on the east coast, I'm too spoiled where I live.
