Ski club

A faculty member and parents run it at my school.

Really laid back, just bus up to the hill and they let us go unless you are a gaper, then they make you do lessons etc.

im in the one at the local highschool. my friends dad runs it.

they take like 5 trips to the local mountain... but the plus is that a club is the only way to get a night card. which is the best deal for me.

a few teachers run it. we're in CT so we do 3-4 trips to far off places like Stowe, Jay, SR, Whiteface, Loon, etc. Pretty sick.

University of Calgary Ski Club, overnight trips to Lake Louise, Kicking Horse and Revelstoke so far planned usually about 5 trips in total. student run, yay ski club execs.

My high school's ski club is a joke. We go up 4 times all season and don't do anything in between.
The ski club at UBC though if I go there next year is supposed to be amazing. They have a place at Whistler reserved for ski club people for really cheap.

I have been treasurer of my schools ski/snowboard club (Cal Poly Ridge Runners) for the last two years. We pretty much have no supervision our advisor just signs off whatever we want to do. We have a big trip every year after fall finals (this year steamboat) then a smaller trip over spring break. Most people in the club ride just locally so I find a lot of rides which good because I hate driving. Most people are not very good at riding in the club and really just join to party but it is a lot of fun. I would not give back my experiences and friends that I have made from this club for anything.

4 trips to sunday river... sucks cause i miss 2 when im on a mission trip to the dominican

at least i get the day passes for any other time

I run that shit. im the president of mine, and we have a faculty moderator, who is one of the coolest and best teachers in the school. We have a trip out west each year, we are going to keystone and breck this year, and have gone to the canyons in utah the past two. We used to go to VT, but i changed that haha.
