Alright it's time to get new skis and i'm deciding between three pairs. I'm looking at the armada ar6, moment reno jibs and the moment reno freebirds. I ski maybe 65% park and the rest of the time i ski groomers. Thanks for the help

I dont know about the freebirds... but the jibs and the ar6's I do know about.

either one will give you splendid performance all over the place and are built to last. Pop for days, light, neet lookin. The jib is symmetrical, and you will center mount that, I had ar6's true center and wouldnt go back.

The reality is, all three skis will give you what youre looking for. Seriously.

The best part about all the twin tip innovation over the last ten years is that these skis are built to take a beating and still get you from top to bottom as fast and as hard as you can go.

I appreciate that you are looking at independent brands, kudos.

depending on your height and weight, maybe the freebird just cause it is a little wider (i think).

Happy skiing.

I had a pair of freebirds and they were great, but I was doing less park than you and more all mountain stuff. I think the ar6 and jibs have a pretty similar flex, so it comes down to the sidecut. The ar6s are non-symmetrical and jibs are symmetrical. I think you will be happy no matter what you choose, but since I've had moments and loved them, I say go with the jibs.

he probably lives somewhere there isnt any.. I've been told when enquiring with moment.. that the jib is stiffer than the ar6.. just thought i'd put that out there..

if you don't ski pow, then there is no downside of center mounting.

but maybe you want something a little wider?

like Moment Tahoes or Rockers?

maybe even anthems?

wider is better and a mid 90s waiste isn't too wide
