so i can pick between armada, k2, fischer and volkl. i'm 5'7 145 and want to ski mostly park, wich one do you recommend of the 07 skis
 
armada or k2... armada's topsheets are weak but the skis perfore great.. and k2's topsheets are pretty strong and they perform great as well...
 
dude i live down here in chile and i know some of the people in this site have allready skied some of those skis that's why i'm asking, and i don't have the chance to buy a ski for less than 700 or 800 hundred dollars so i could use some help before making the buy,so you could help or just shut the fuck up and don't write anything
 
I've seen some beat to shit T-Halls and have never seen any delam. I personally have a pair and I love them but I cannot really comment on how well they take abuse since I only got to use them around 15-20 times last season but considering I did ski them hard, there's not much to show for it on the skis.

Entonces comprate unos T-Hall o AR6, cachai? venden armada en Chile o los teni que comprar en Estados Unidos y mandarlos a Chile?
 
Ninthward, no question about it. They'll never send the skis and you'll never realize you spent $500 on nothing, its a win-win situation sort of. Support the industry!
 
yeah man i think i'll go with thalls or ar6...aca traen y me los consigo mas barato pq cacho a casi toos los dueños de las tiendas y les gusta q tenga sus eskies, pero tube los thalls del 06 y se delaminaron y no keria tener el mismo problema, por eso keria cachar q pensaban de los otros...
 
si i know i should search bar it but i have final exams and if you could save me some time that would be great because i have lots to study...i'm finally going either with ar6 or thalls 07 but i need to know wich one is more durable, has more po, better for butters, for park all mountain all that you could say it's welcomed...thnks
 
yo he usado los dos, tenia unos 05 AR5s y ahora ando en los T-Hall. como estai en Chile creo que vas a estar mejor con los AR6. vas a estar mas tiempo andando sobre otras partes de la montania entonces creo que los AR6 seran mejores para ti. todavia vas a poder usarlos AR6 en el parque pero es una lata llevar los T-Hall en cualquier lugar afuera del parque.

si quieres un par de esquis solo para parque, comprate los t-hall son mejores para eso. si quieres un esqui que puedes llevar adonde quiera, comprate los AR6. lo mejor seria si te compras un par de t-hall solo para parque y unos JP vs. Julien para todo afuera del parque.
 
vale bro'...thanks that was very helpful i guess i'll go with ar6 because everyone seems to like this ski better and they seem really similar to the thalls anyway just a little better for all mountain
 
My appologies for my sarcasm. I just saw this thread and it really looked liek you were asking which brand would be the "cool" one to get, with the fact that you didn't specify any models. BUT ANYWAYS, I've never really known anyone with K2 problems, and i think the addict's look siiiick, but people talk about how they chip easy. But I think you should be good with any choice.
 
if you have the money,go with armadas.if not go with k2.but if you have the money for armadas,still consider some k2s cuz they are just as good,only cheaper.
 
thanks to everyone i chose armada because every year here seems to be that we are gettin' less pow so park is the way to go and armadas are the park ski of choice...
