Ski Camp vs. South America

So I was thinking of going to Camp this summer for a 8 or 9 day camp at Whistler, six of which are spent skiing,

the cost being 2000-2400 cdn plus transportation costs.

(pro coaches and a pretty nice park)

Then i was doing some research into skiing in SOuth america.

cost for seven nights lodging in Valle Nevado Chile plus meals and lifts tickets: under 1000.

Airfare to Santiago: 1200

Other costs: 200 - 300

(sick middle of season powder and Big mountain terrain not to mention uncrowded slopes in the middle of summer no less)

what would you guys go for?

 
depends on how much big mountain you ski.

I'd go with south america personally, you don't get chances like that often.

Plus there are some HOT chicks in south america so I hear from my friend who went there.
 
Me, personally, would go to ski camp (and i am) cause i ski great powder and big mnt all season in MT and ski very mediocer park, and i want to get better at park.
 
South America for sure. Hot chicks (esp. in Buenos Aires), good food, fewer rich 12 yr olds, less expensive...
 
SOUTH AMERICA!! That price for a week at camp is absurd. Besides, go to las lenas or Valle Nevado and you can ski park and/or powder. ANd believe me, the terrain in las lenas is truly world class. dunno about the park though
 
south america for sure! It's way better than skiing a glacier it's winter overthere...

dont go to chile, go to ARGENTINA. its 3 times cheaper than chile, and $3 USD = 1 Peso. Trust me go to Argentina. I did and i am not regretting it at all.

Plus South America Snowsessions is a SICK camp. Trust me, it will blow the pants off the best snow year ever in NZ.

Hhahaha. I knew that one of those guys would be on this thread, and that was actually a funny response, although Hector's slang is certainly not up to par.

I've been thinking about this now, and if I work my ass off all summer I might be able to head down for a week in August. If not, next summer for sure.
 
why not just go to SMS in whistler. thats close and mad pro riders. its really just preference i would take either one though and not complain at all
 
SA will be a cool travel/lifestyle experience as well, Whistler is a bunch of pubic 14 year olds trying to act gangster.

Go to Las Lenas in Argentina.
