I have a paper due and in it i have to talk about film quality so could someone tell me the differences between 35mm, HD camereas, and 16mm. If anyone could tell me the difference you would see in them when watching them on the big screen id raelly appreciate it. t hanks

 
16 mm and 35 mm are the diffeent widths of the film, 35 has better resolution. Im not too sure what HD is. but its not film.

 
well i know hd isnt technically film, but i had to watch these movies for a college class which i never watched and anyway i was supposed to talk about the film quality of each one and i know those are the 3 types of film just not sure about each one. so any help would be appreciated i know we have some guys into film on this site

 
hd is just high definition digital. its like film for the new age. basically just a really high quality digital. check out lotr.

film looks way better than any digital. I mean look at sm3 and look at strike 3. the picture quality just isn't there.

they are filming an IMAX movie at mammoth later this season. were gonna build some huge 150+ foot tables.

my uncle is designing and building a new, lighter imax camera. pretty sick

don't forget the # of CCDs. you get what you pay for. the more CCDs you have, the more expensive and better the camera is. just pretend you want to buy one and milk salesmen for info. but you gotta go to a pro camera shop, not circuit city or best guy. they don't know shit

He made a ski/everything movie in Imax.

I want to see it.

Don't know if they still play it down at the Imax joint.
