Ski burke vs sugarbush

I hate to do this to you but i need some advice.

Ill be in middlebury vt march 20 and want to check out the skiing.

Within a hr drive i found snowbowl which i can go to for free, ski burke, sugarbush.

Snowbowl is tiny so thats out.

Question is- is sugarbush worth the extra half hr drive than going to burke?

Most important to me is lapping runs fast since im used to tow ropes in wisco.

+k for advice

i'm pretty sure that the mt ellen park (sugarbush) is far superior to what burke has. just what i've heard, i've never been to burke.

if killington is within an hour, head there if its a weekday. the place is empty, the park is very well maintained, and there are tons of all mountain ski options.

sugarbush has a bunch of rails, and mediocre jumps but the trails and woods are really nice too.

Sugarbushs park is very easily lappable. Terrain is top notch too. We just got 37 inches of fresh... Fuck i need to be there right now

Sugarbush's park is good this year and easily lappable since it has its own lift. Also has more all mountain options than burke.

sugarbush has a sick park on mt ellen, and its at the bottom so its not mad cold, but the jumps are no bigger then 25-30 feet

well i don't know what map you're looking at, but burke is definately not an hour away from middlebury.
killy and sugarbush.

More like two and a half hours...

Not sure where you're getting a half-hour unless you've got a private jet.

Burke is lyndonville...or st. Johnsbury or whatever it is....

It's far more than 30 minutes from Midd....Trust me. I'd say around 2 hours.

damn phone. anyways were going to sugarbush. hoping for good weather. i know east coast weather usualy sucks. also, any cliffs there or what is called out west "extreme terrain"?

^^^^ the church ^^^^^

im not a local so i dont know anything beyond the well known spots but the church is a run off the top of paradise with a small hike and some nice drops
