Hey guys here is my ski vlog, Diaries of a Ski Bum that I broadcast to you from my living room.

I'm looking for new ideas for the season from bonafide ski bums on newschoolers, as well as USEFUL critique and input.

GOOD COMMENTS:

1. What you like

2. What I can improve on

NOT GOOD COMMENTS

1. Pee in her butt

2. Nice tits :)

If you have the time, please comment.

I mean this in the nicest way possible, but first impression in the videos is that you seem like you're trying too hard to be funny, which had the opposite effect for me. Just relax a bit more and keep your target audience in mind when you're making your videos. You definitely have potential.

yea exactly that would be a lot more fun to watch.

I want more from the hill if I'm there to watch a 'ski bum'. I'd like to see where you ski, what you ski, all that jazz. Keep it up. :)

I was wondering about that. I definitely want to get some chairlift vlogging/ ride vlogging going this season. As well as ski touring.

Thanks for the input! (and for being so nice :))

I have always tried to find someone who does daily vlogs, and is also a skier

Haha this is the hard part. When the question is to vlog or to ski? Most people chose skiing. I choose both.

being a ski bum is like being skinny or rich

it should be self evident and if ya gotta tell people

youre probably not

ski bums ski

spewtubers spew

Mmmmm seems a bit too forced. Talk to the camera like it's your best mate. Your setup is legit though - looks pretty professional.

Check out john hill on YouTube he's a skateboarder youtuber, same with Chris chann. They're both really good at splitting up vlogging and doing their sports.

Hope you can learn something from them! And keep it up!!!

Ive been thinking of making one this year more as a motivation to something cool every single day. Wouldn't really be a vlog but more like a daily edit. I live in Whistler, ski pow and park, and mtn bike in the summer, so its not like I'm going to run out of stuff to do. Only thing though is it would be mostly gopro shots as I don't normally have patience for filming when skiing. What do you think, would mediocre filming, an ok skier, and an awesome location make for a decent vlog?

Go for it

Just watched your first video..

"163s with a 177 radius" (1:37)

I'm pretty sure thats impossible and that a true ski bum would know that.

1. Don't over-act or be really annoying like the youtubers my step-son watches. They make me stabby listening to them.

2. Be yourself.

3. Show a mix a skiing and non-skiing stuff.

4. Interview local ski bums.

5. Give solid advice for new skiers and experienced skiers.

6. Have fun.

I also live in the Whistler area so if you're looking for some help let me know.

Thank you. Solid advice. I'm in the process of interviewing some of my ski bum friends for my channel!

Lol I know, I wanted to make a joke about how many numbers get thrown out there during gear talk. It makes absolutely no sense.
