Ski Breaking - help me out

Alright, so for a design project I'm doing for school, I need a quick look at how skis most often break. So, if you would be so kind as to give me the number of skis you have personally had 'break' in the following ways, I would love you.

Delamination

Snapping

Edges ripping out

Losing all responsiveness (IE no more camber, pop, skis become noodles)

Other (Specifiy)

Word to everyone.

topsheet delam on one pair.

and totally killed the core on a pair of 1080s, like zero camber or pop at all.

my brother and i have delamed probably 8+ pairs combined. he's also snapped a ski right behind his binding.

Anyone got a picture of a delamed ski? I can't find one and I wanna show people (non skiers) what it actually is.

1 Pair of k2 delam. 1 Pair of salomon 1080 cracked edges then broke at the heel piece. 1 Pair of volkl V-Pro cracked edges and ripped out bindings. 1 Pair of nordica cracked sidewalls. 1 Pair of volkl gotamas cracked sidewalls. 2 Pair of volkl G-41 delam.

Both of these fit the "other" category.

1: Tip snapped off (was one of those plastic tip covers) and the ski was shattered under it.

2: The tip delaminated a little and the edge bent downward, all in one hit.

I'm pretty sure I broke another pair of skis as well, but I forget what I did to it.

Foils broke after a rough switch landing half way from the tip.

TM's edges breaking out all over the place from too much rail abuse.

i broke a pair of urban tripplets on the extra edge thing, the core broke vertically. and i delamed a pair of armaders, but its because a dumb bitch dropped them...

Delam-Line Invaders just regular skiing

Ripped edges out doing rails

Snapped K2 appaches by landing backseat

Broken 2 pairs of bindings

if your looking for all around types of breaking, i know that when i used to race lots of kids broke their skis because of the slalom gates hitting them and snapping the ski vertically at the tip. i also know that the top sheet cracks on some if you get enough pressure on the ski during a turn (usually near the tip as well).

One pair lost all its pop and camber

One pair has delamed

And I've snapped one pair

I like to mix it up.

Delamination

Nope

Snapping

2 skis snapped, both right in front of bindings

Edges ripping out

Never, lots of ripped out edges though, just they were fixed or at the tail.

Losing all responsiveness (IE no more camber, pop, skis become noodles)

3 pairs that i can think of

Other (Specifiy)

Large Dent that could not be fixed. (edge being crushed in)
