Well. Looks like that's it for me everyone! My shitty MacBook that has had problems since I bought it last year has finally decided to croak. I've heard great things about Macs, sucks I had such a horrible experience with mine. Probably won't be buying another one. Thanks for all the support! Glad you dig my art!
 
Ha! Nah that was in slight anger... I'm chill now. 10:15 appointment tomorrow to get all my shit transfered onto a brand new MacBook Pro. Hoping the fact that my last one was refurbished was where I went wrong. As soon as I'm back up and running I'll make more.
 
MacBook Pro- Maximum operating altitude: 10,000 feet. Well fuck me, I live higher than that. Glad I broke my laptop by just living. That thing only went below 10,000 feet once a week when I took it to school. (Well, 4 times a week 1st semester.)
 
Update: So I went to the Apple store today and my hard drive and battery were shot. Bought a new MacBook Pro on the spot. I'm going to try to have my hard drive recovered, but unfortunately it's not guaranteed. Ironically I was planning on backing up my hard drive this morning because my best friend's laptop died yesterday in a freak accident. But my hard drive decided to abruptly and randomly die last night. Coincidence? Ha!

I will be back in business for making wallpapers as soon as I get Photoshop CS5 on my new computer, but because I lost a lot of my own graphic tools on my old computer, I will be a lot slower at it.

I'm STOKED on how this thread went off, so I'm thinking about creating a new one with rules/regulations at the top and attach this one.

Please do NOT PM me about doing any graphic design for you. Sorry if you already have and I have not responded. (I'm getting way too many.)

PLEASE HOLD OFF ON ANYMORE WALLPAPER REQUESTS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, THEY WILL NOT BE GRANTED.

Alright, so I'm going to be creating a new thread with some rules at the top. I'm thinking of doing this one of two ways and want your guys input. I can either

1. Post the two most popular wide and full screen sizes (4 to chose from) and you can request a size. I will include an iPhone version if you wish.

OR

2. Make each wallpaper in multiple sizes and post all of them at once.

1 will produce wallpapers at a faster rate and more of them.

2 will make them come a lot slower and a lot fewer, but I will make them higher quality and obviously there will be more size options.

Thoughts?
 
Hmmm I guess I should have reworded that.

I would take personal requests and make each wallpaper in one of four sizes. (Only four sizes to chose from because they're the most popular and then other people will have a better chance of being able to use them.)

Pretty much like I was doing before instead you could pick the size instead of just having 1280 X 800.
 
Yeah I was thinking about that. There's no easy way. Haha!

I think I'm going to do number 2, I would rather cater to more people than do more of them.

I also think I'm going to make a website with all of them organized by brand.

I'll recreate the good ones I already made in more sizes and higher quality.

I wasn't cuz it's technically not ski related and no one else has requested it. Buuuut if you post your size and an idea of what you want, you might get it. ;-)

i'm on a 13" macbook, not sure what size i'd need, but seeing as your a mac user, hopefully you'll know?
i was thinking lots of giraffes, and trees, and º47 written on it a time or two, and some LRG logos, and you can add your own personal flare.
