So last season I wore Rossi all speeds in 29.5, they were great until they packed out and my toes literally disintegrated. So I got sized up at my local shop and they recommend 28.5. Tried multiple full tilts on in a 28.5 and my toes were curled, then they had me try dalbello IL Moro MX 90s in a 29.5 and they felt perfect. Anyone have these boots and can tell me if they pack out/are worth it, id hate to drop 300 bucks to have the same problem this season as last.

You probably should’ve tried a 29.5 FT. The way they do things is different because of the same sizes that they originally used or something so the boot was designed around a 27 rather than 26. If you’re a 28.5 chances are a 29.5 FT would fit better. If the Moro 90 felt really comfortable on the floor that means that you’re probably gonna have a lot of room once the liner packs out. Generally I like to fit people so that on the floor the boots are a bit more snug, so that the liner packs out and then they’re comfortable. A boot that’s super comfortable and roomy out of the box generally means too much room after the liners broken in but it depends on personal preference

What are your reviews on the dalbello il moro boots 120 flex. I need new boots asap, I tried these on and on the floor they felt like a new boot should apart from a couple hot spots on my ankle, will heat molding the shell alleviate this problem. Are these boots worth the 600 price tag? I live in southern ohio and my options for ski shops and professional advice are DOG shit, so i guess I'm asking for advice.
