Hey guys. Quick question. I went to a bootfitter and he suggest to me to go with maybe a Rossignol SAS FS 2 boot.... looking at the boot I'm not sure what to think with the two buckle system and all. Please give any insight to these things. I spend most my time on groomers and in the park, but sometimes in the deep. Thanks guys!

yeah... if rossi was smart they would put a power strap on their boots but they don't which strikes me as weird. How big are you? how much do you weigh? Did you try the boot on? It is fairly soft with a flex of 80 and also fairly wide with a last of 102... give me some details man.

I'm a bigger guy I'm 5'10" but 200 lbs and fairly aggressive. Yeah I have a lil wider of a foot and I tried the b-squad boot on and it was alright and he said the wider one at 102 would be perfect for me. I believe the foils I have have a flex of 90 so 80 wouldn't be a huge change. I'm more worries cause I have big calfs so with no strap across the top I thought it might fit weird. thanks for the response but still not sure. hope this helps you some more

your a pretty big guy and if your are a good skier who is fairly aggressive, you need something stiffer, and probably something with a real buckle up system... power strap and all.

i would look for something with atleast a 100 flex. 100, maybe 90, would be good for the park, but once you are on the groomers and in the pow, you will want a stiffer boot, like 110 or 120.

did you try on this rossis? Lange Fluids are pretty nice and they accomodate a wide calve. Another one to consider is the new Ace Of Spades by nordica.
