Ski Boots

Hey All,

What boots do you guys ride in? I was looking to pick up a new pair this year? Any insights will be greatly appreciated.

Solomon Evol. 3 or 4 boots that are impossible to get your feet into. You have to like jump up and down really hard to get into them.

Has anyone tried this years 1080 boots? I am seriously considering buying them and I could use any feedback you may have.

mine are the ugliest pink you canimagine and they have a big brown patch cause they caught on fire ...

mine are orange technicas from 4 years ago, i bought them at a ski swao for 35$, all i had to do to them to make them good was put a nike air zoom sole in them, i wish they still fit i need new ones too

Yellowsnow- this years 1080s boots are pretty much the same, except for the color they added a rivot to make the boot a little stiffer but not much. Instead of being a flex of 85 it is 95. I suppose that can help if your riding some park and freeriding the other time. Otherwise they are kickass boots that were perfect for anything and I don't see how making them stiffer would hurt. Look into it.

 
Anyone know how much they are going to cost? I went to the Salomon website but it doesn't say.

I think all ski companies are potting againts me. I want to get 1080 boots in a 29 but getboards doesnt have them in that size, my area ski shops dont have them in that size, and I couldnt find any in whistler. Then finally i fouind some at this huge store in minneapolis but they were for $600!!!!! I was so pissed

yeha it does everyone at lesmoise was makin fun of me but then i made fun of them casue they all wore like a size 9. anyone know where i can find some 1080 boots in a 29

Hopefully I can get a deal on them just like I did for my teneighty skis last year. Otherwise things are going to be difficult.

No one here has a right to gripe - I am a *32* mondo-point. The only way I can ride is to get footbeds and gods know what else

I dont know last year i had the 1080 groms, in shoe size 6.5, does anyone know how big kids boots go up cause i dont want to have to spend a ton of money.

gregg i know a snowboarder who got his boot custom made!!! he said its impossible to get shoes in his size but he looks so funny cause he is like 6'2 or so and has the hugest feet i have ever seen

o man i tried on some rossignol XX or XXX or something like taht and they were tough to get in to!! im so used to my boots that my feet just slip right in. i will miss my nice 100 dollar boots. nothing like some salomon performa 4.0s

I have Rossi Freeride XX.. just got them though, so I have no idea how they are.. they felt comfy in the store! Can't wait to use them.

Took FOREVER to get dialed, lots of work (I have a messed up right foot thats had many surgeries)

But they are super comfy and thats what matters
 
Boots don't matter, just go buy some old rental ones from sports authority....

Just kidding... I ride Il Moro's and I love them!
