i'm at sort of a dilemma because i only have about 340 bucks which i know is still a decent amount and i need a pair of boots. i need something comfortable and super solid. just an all around good freestyle boot. Is it a bad idea to buy online?

i would refrain to buy online because you might fuck up sizing, go to a shop and have them fit u to a boot.. buy one you like there if its cheap enough or buy the same boot online if its too pricey in the store

yes it is. UNLESS you go to a boot fitter and get that EXACT boot fitted at a bootfitter then order it. but still its a better idea to buy at a shop

If moneys real tight u can go try them on and make the bootfitter do some work and then fuck him over and buy online, but that does kinda make you a bad person cuz you dont wana fuck people over working in the ski industry

You could always just try the boot on at a shop and buy online...Just dont tell the guys at the shop your plan.

nah dont get the rampages get the krypton crosses they look so much cooler than the rampages unless u get them in green

Go to shop like everyone else suggested. That way you know you will get the proper size.

Also look for something that is going to be cheap but a really good boot. I have a pair of Lange Concept 85s from last season that I'm still using this year and I love them. $150 boots and they are the most comfortable boots I've had.

dont listen to the retards that recommend boots for you on this site. go to a shop, try some on, and find the one that fits your foot. if you buy last years you can prolly go around 350

but he has 350$, he cant do miracles. if the boots he wants are 400 at he shop he simply cant buy them. but i agree that if you can still pay for the price of the boot, go for it and buy directly from the shop.

buying ski boots online is a terrible idea. i always try on AT LEAST 5 pairs of boots before i find anything close to the right ones. boots aren't really something i'd pinch pennies on...you have to find the right ones, you'll have them for a while.

remember, if you buy online and have a problem with you boots, you will have to pay a shop to get the boot work done. this shit ain't cheap and they will charge you top dollar if you didn't buy the boots there.

i have charged people upwards of $150 ($60/hr x 2.5 hr) for boot work after they thought they were getting a deal buying the boots they wanted online. it's not always the best idea buying online.

lol..... you dont buy a boot because it looks cooler.... that is the worst advice you could give someone. even if the way the boot PREFORMS (read, preforms, not looks) is good you still dont tell someone what boot to buy over the internet.. you buy a boot based on how it fits your foot.
