i figure i might as well offer something here besides ridicule.
shin bang can be caused by a few things:
too much gapping on the shin
too stiff a boot
poor flex point (depends on individual)
saying that there's one boot that will cure shin bang for everyone is false advertisement. there is no such thing as a boot for everyone, period. so STOP saying shit like "get these, they are the best boot ever!
even trying to recommend a boot over the internet is garbage, because you don't know shit about their foot, ankle or leg shape, or how good a skier they are.
to the creator of this thread, i suggest you take your boots, go to your local shop, and ask them to check it out for you. the worst outcome could be that they recommend a new boot for you, which will probably be the best thing you could do for your skiing.
