Ski boot tightness??

I recently got tom wallisch pro model full tilt boots for christmas, and they fit great. I just don't know how much I should tighten them when i use them for the first time on Tuesday. when I put them on, my foot fits snug, but when I tighten them a lot, my feet and ankles start to hurt. when I don't tighten them as much, my heel has a tiny bit of wiggle room. what I just want to know, is what should I be feeling when I tighten my boots up to know that it is a good fit. what do you guys feel in your feet when you tighten your boots up and are ready to shred? how do I know when my boots are tight enough.

well if you got them properly fitted then there shouldn't be any problems. If not, take them to your local shop, have them heat moulded and buy foot beds.

This. The store your parents (?) bought them from should be aware to have a fitting done for you. Take them into the shop and they will make sure you are in the proper size, make proper footbeds for your, and heat mold your liners. Only then will you know that they fit your properly and therefore how much you should tighten them down.

if u only take one thing from this website, it should be that you need to see a boot fitter before purchasing a boot...
