Ski boot pain!

So I've got a pair of full tilt classics and while the shell fits perfectly I've developed a pain in the arch ok my foot. I dont have any footbeds in them and I dont use footbeds in any of my street shoes. I've been talking to my local bootfitter (finally got one) about placing footbeds in my boots either custom fit or trim to fit. Is this a good idea given that I've never used footbeds.
 
Yes, custom footbeds are a 100% must have if you want to be comfortable.

Go find the best shop that makes them and get them.

If you don't go custom, be prepared to not totally solve your problem. And get stuff for your everyday shoes as well.
