Hey NS, i was just wondering what you guys thought would be a good ski boot company for me. Im looking for a boot brand that i can stick with for a while. i enjoy a snug fit on my foot but i want a more tight fit on my ankle shin area... Any ideas?

Before this gets any worse, go to a bootfitter OP.

No one here will be able to tell you what will work best because were not looking at you feet.

Go to a good bootfitter (Find a good one by asking the guys in regional forum of your area).

this should be in gear talk, and ask who is the best bootfitter in your area, each brand produces a different style shell, none that anyone can tell without seeing your foot. dont follow the full tilt hype train, if you fit well in one than thats great, but follow my and the above posters advice. and read the bootfitting sticky in gear talk.

i hear full tilts just came out with a new boot called gear talk forum, maybe check that out sometime.

I think you mean 98mm last.

They are actually a great boot, Im getting some of the 120's this season for my all mountain boot. Im getting foam injection liners and sidas footbeds and im going to change the boot board and add a SPK spoiler. It should be a sick boot.

But as far as if it will work for the OP who knows.

To OP go see a bootfitter. Its pointless looking at boots until you know what you need to be looking at.

Generally a bootfitter will recommend 3 boots which will be most suitable. Try those and see which feels the most snug with the least movement.

Then its a case of getting them fitted. Get some footbeds made, get the liner molded, and possibly the shell molded or streched.

Go ski in them to bed them in and then take them back if you need a little more work done to them.

Overall don't buy online, go get fitted properly.

you need to make your signature "go to a bootfitter". every boot question in gear talk you're always on it haha
