Just getting the word out that Applications are available and being accepted at the bellevue Sturtevant's location.

It is going to be at Southcenter mall this year instead of Northgate (don't ask me why because I have no idea).

It's not particularly difficult work and its a good opportunity to meet people in the industry.

already sent an app in. would reccomend it, sooper fun, and hella nice people. southcenter though....gayyy. if anyone is doing it who lives up north, hit me up about carpooling
 
20% discount if you work more than 3 shifts. and you have to be 16 im pretty sure, unless you know a rep or something
 
What are the chances of ONE getting shot there? Or what are the chances that YOU specifically will get shot?
 
yeah bonkers is just too far away this year for it to be worth it for me. If you live near there get an app in its a great way to get to know some people who run the shop and possibly more jobs after
 
its pretty damn late this year...

Friday, November 17th through Sunday the 19th.

Thats almost a full month later than last year. There was already like a 60" base by that point.

but if you just work bonkers or something, you really wont get access to proforms, just discounts on what is there. you actually have to work in the shops to get the proforms.
 
i guess i will work mb ski area again next winter. you can proform from any job on your second year.
 
looked at snowqualmie's website today at their jobs for next season, and those jobs get you proforms, think I will try and get a job there. And if I get the job I will eather be on queen ann Hill (just next to aurora, or at the downtown ferry docks.
 
no for bonkers I will eather be living on queen ann or on Bainbridge Island, so if any one wants to car pool thats where I will be.
 
Hmmm, I live in the U district. But I have a job, and screw work on weekends, even if I get a great discount. I might bum a ride down there just to see whats goin on though. Maybe get some bindings for my new skis.
 
its Sturtevant's big pre-season sale over labor day weekend. It has been going on for years. Used to be at Seattle Center, and it has been at Northgate Mall for years untill this year, where it will be at Southcenter. Has most of the new stuff, plus stuff from last year and other years that are even further discounted. There can be some pretty good deals. It is pretty amazing how many people buy their stuff there for the season, and since last season was really good, I bet it will be crackin (unless the Southcenter move has an impact)
 
I think it's 16 to work there. Usually you have to help in the set up/take down, as well as the actual sale (but who knows what exactly you'll be dong). It's a fun gig.
 
yea SkiBonkers is only for Labor Day weekend. There is another big sale at the Washington Snow Sports Expo too, but damn its not till mid November this year.
 
well we were last year!! Like 2 weeks after expo we were shredding the gnar up at whistler. And then shredding the gnar up at stevens just a few days later. That was just the beginning of november...
