ski boarding

i personally like skiing more cuz when i used to skiboard, i would go as hard and fast as i could on a jump, and it would just pop me straight up in the air( i ended up hurting my back by landing on top of a table) the next year (in the same park, the same jump) with skis, i cleared it without even trying. There is no speed/distance in skiboards.

I was in the petting zoo, or as I like to call it, the touch me zoo this afternoon. All the animals were retarded. Some lady was breast feeding her baby on a bench nearby, an obvious signal. I sat down uncomfortably close to her and yawned my arm around her shoulder. In her attempt to squirm away, she dropped her baby on the ground. I pretended I was concerned for a second, then I punted it over the fence. She still didn't seem interested in me. Whatever.
 
yeah its the same story with rollerblading... all of these skaters are hating on them, what the fuck is there problem? yeah it is really easy to do tricks but they can still eat shit and take risks just as much as, or even more then, skaters themselfs. i mean think about it they are pulling 12s and corked shit on concrete. im not saying that skating is less of a sport then rollerblading, its actually a vary different sport then any extreme sport, but they shoudl still give rollerbladers some respect

 
holly crap people yove gatta give skiboarders credit. they dont make fun of us skiers and at least there out trying something new. and ... at least there on the snow

 
You know, this is just a great site. Such a nice blend of reasonable people and bigoted idiots. It's great to see that we're all equal except whoever it's 'cool' to diss. skiboarding isnt gay, i used to skibaord, and now i ski, i never got very good at skibaording before i started skiing and im not very good at sking but i still skibaord becasue its super fun u can spin so easily and jib anything so i will prolly be skiing more then skiboarding this year but u will still see me in the park this year on boards.. if i can find another pair cuz i just sold mine, andy made the greatest pint-- look at why u ride, is it for fun or to look cool?? i ski and skiboard becasue its fun. that should be the only reason anybody rides anything at all

 
OK, I know you guys want to kick my ass so I have nothing to lose at this point. I saw canonrider's name on the side of the screen and said shyt about it. I did not know him or look at his profile or anything like that. That was my mistake, and I already said that I had no idea he was sponsored, etc. But, referring to the statement made about reasons for being on the mountain, if you have ever said a word about style, or tried to make a trick look smoother, you are guilty of trying to look cool. Part of being on the mountain is style, and to me it is hard to have good style on skiboards. So what if I dont skiboard anymore? How about Nicky Adams, Mike Nick, and Pollard? Are they trend followers? No, it is called natural progession. I simply wanted more speed stability and style, and I was not finding that with skiboards. Trust me when I say I used to say that 'everyone is on the mountain for the same reason' but doesnt a gay guy get a blowjob for the same reason as a straight guy? If you are just out there to have fun thats cool, but I want to get better and progress, and that is my reason for skiing. So, I leave you with this: I still encourage my freinds who go up to Tahoe with me to skiboard, but to my freinds who are SERIOUS about it, well lets just say my sister gets to try a new sport. I dont want to piss anyone off, but if I have Im sorry.

Those guys aren't trend setters they just like a challenge, when there wasn't anything left to do in skiboarding competition or movie wise they moved to a sport which is very similar and is a whole new challenge.
