Nah theres two different style. A fruitbooter who constantly do "frontside" grinds and is pretty much always centered is considered a Ski Blader. Its quite easy to spot the difference once you start fruitbooting with people who are true rollerbladers.
 
hes kind of right, i aggressive skate but he does in a skiiing like way he only does tricks that you can do on skis and doesnt use his soul foot at all
 
That was dope dude i love that style of blading I'm a skateboarder but i respect anything steezy. That was most definitely steezy. Where is that park btw? It looks fun as fuck!
 
looks pretty fun, nothing looked super technical but then again I've never fruitbooted in my life. Seems like it would be pretty fun just to mess around on rails.
 
Its in Qc, Canada. They builded it this year in a town near me and it was definitely a fun park, full of sick lines for bladers and skateboarders. Probably the best free skatepark you can get around here.

but thats rollerblading, you're wearing skates. personally i think it's dumb to just try and do ski tricks on skates. there's so many more things you can do and it's fun. plus it helps you with your skiing even if it's not ski tricks. thats not why I skate (in fact,been skating longer than than I have skiing park) but i guess it's whatever. some ski tricks do look really cool however. but afterbang doesn't. bend yo knees.
 
Yeah those are oooooold blades haha. But really I don't like real rollerblade grinds and such, I watched many aggressive inline movies and I just couldn't appreciate any of the thousands different grinds you can do on skates... I know how to do them (pornstar, mizu, soul, toxic, unity, etc) but I just don't like it. I do my things and have a blast! And there were no afterbangs in any of the videos? just stomped landings with no reverts...
 
word. there's too few of us for any hating haha. I like the taps. I do those a lot but those look more like skiers doing taps. I think i might start doing those. using both skates right next to each other for taps too, that looks sick.
 
I liked that a lot, only thing I have against rollerblading is the ridiculous amounts of grind types.
 
i think that it looks very contrived. why limit your potential in one sport so that you can imitate a (poor) trend in another.
 
I understand your point, the thing is that I'm not limiting myself at all, its just a different style in front of the lens. I do rollerblade grinds on ledge and stuff from time to time but I don't get the same feeling from stomping a k-fed for exemple. I'm a skier first, so this is pretty much my way of skiing during the summer haha. Anybody else kind of ski blade?
 
A couple of my cousins friends were straight dirty on the things. That was before twin tips though. Seeing them misty the 40 footer was pretty unreal at the time. They def had the gnar on their side.
 
So I hear the hardest part about rollerblading is telling your parents you're gay....

I bladed before i skied and it helped me a lot! that first video was pretty damn dirty. just stop with all the god damn royales. i wanna see some souls, porns, acids, etc.

 
i like the more skier style, although i don't think you get a different name for the sport. still rollerblading, call it aggressive if you want but ski blading is something totally different. Similar to the difference between gypsy style or thug in skiing, or even the more jock oriented comp style. Its still skiing. But for sure those edits were awesome and you have a sweet style
