Ski Blades?

I wanna hear what y'all have to say about ski blades. Been thinking about getting some for a while but no one I know uses them. Thoughts?
 
If your getting 'em just make sure you get real bindings and not those trap/cage bindings that don't release... Watched my buddy eat it cruising on a green run and he broke his leg in four places
 
Got a pair with non release bindings, they're fun but can definitely fuck you up. RVL8 is pretty much the gold standard for them. You can mount non release bindings on them or you would need to get risers to put traditional ones on. Summit is another skiboard brand that you can mount traditional bindings directly without the need for risers.
