Ski Bindings

I recently bought a pair of line 1260's and put a pair of rozzi 100 bindings on it. This is prolly a stupid question but does it matter if the binding pieces are connected or should the be sepetate. the toe piece from the heel cuz mine are connected.

doesnt really matter. All bindings are different. The reason yours appear connected is because of the riser plate.

ahhh...do you mean like a power plate or something. You don't need that for jumping really. it just adds weight. if you take it off you will also get lower on your skis. this gives you a better balance point for landings and rails

ya that is what i have and i am alittle bit up on my skis but line 1260s are really light anyway so does alittle exta weight matter that much

Thanks i got one more question, is it possible to take the t-plate off if i don't want it cuz it does make my boot further off the ski and heavier but i looked at it and can't figure a way to get it off.

i think you have to take the whole binding off and then take it off.. drill and fill it

Also, I heard that a riser plate makes that area of the ski stiffer (which makes sense). Just another thought.

I'm really tired, so i'm not sure if this makes sense, but hear me out. your skis are a twin tip, right? If they're not, disregard this statement. The connector betweent the toe piece and the heel piece on a binding connects the binding. On a twin tip, this connector wastes the point of having a twin tip . If you don't have the connector between the front and back of the binding, it allows the ski to flex in the middle, allowing to land fakie even easier in the park or pipe. If the connector is in there, the twin tip will not bend and function as a twin tip should. thank you, and good night.

WA skiers are cool. I'm a WA skier. I'm cool. You know, Washington apples are cool too. . .

i disagree with your theory :)

i dunno, i got risers on one set of my twins and i can't tell the difference in landing fakie, but they will def. carve and ski better with it on..so
