I've got PX 12 jibs right now, and they arent too great. They've popped out a few times when i flip, on some rails, so basically yeah they just come out for no reason. Ive got the dins cranked all the way up. So what would be something better for me?

Not too much $ to spend, gotta buy them in NZ and bindings are a killer here.

Thanks

could go with some s912ti but not a fan of salomon binder, i would suggest keeping those rossi or getting the old p12 with the pivot

Yeah, my friend has the s912ti and they are really heavy.. and the p12 pivots are like impossible to find here.

^^ and also i just checked and they are on 10.. but i shouldnt really need them much higher for my weight anyway?

yea check and see if the backs are right up tight to ur boots cuz sometimes when u land hard they slide back. so they will release easier.

you are taking crazy pills my friend! The s912ti is no joke the lightest bindings on the market at 900 grams with a din above 10. That being said it seems like you really need to get your bindings adjusted professionally. Just turning up the din doesn't help at all. You shouldn't need anything higher than an 8 or 9 din weighing 130 pounds.

wwell, bindings lose consistency when they are within 1 of the extremes on the DIN. so take them down to 11, also, take them into a shop and have them check to see if they are properly fitted for your boot as that can lead to release problems as well, one more thing to check is if your boot soles have significant wear, which affects the contact between boot and binding and can also lead to problems.

Yeah I think that for park with your height and weight the p12 jibs would be fine if they were properly adjusted. I have those bindings and I'm 6'2" 190 The only time they have came off is if i land straight sideways from a table or straight down on my tips tails i don't see how they come off so easy for u

It could be the forward pressure on the binding.

On the back of the heel piece there is a small window with a yellow tab in it. When the boot is locked into the binding, the end of the yellow tab should come about half way up the window, ie; now the boot is in, half the window is yellow and half clear. if it there is more yellow visible you may need to screw the heel piece forward a couple of mm.

yeah, that was the problem with my px12 jib ti's, my foward pressure was totally wrong for me, and i kept popping out, pissed me off sooooo much when i would spin onto rails.
