Ski bindings for my vishnu pluses

I am getting some Vishnu Plus skis and i dont know what bindings to get. i want looks but i dont know if its really a good investment for me and i wanted some other bindings to look into. I have been looking at marker squires and griffons but i hear the griffons are too heavy but not much about the squires. Any suggestions?

I like the griffs, have them on a pair of 171 2018 blends. No big issues with them. Heard good things about attacks but never liked them that much. Trying Pivot 14s this year, actually, so not yet sure how they ride and if it's worth the investment.

If I were you I wouldn't worry about having heavy bindings. It's not the same as the swing weight that you have with skis, since the weight of your bindings is so close to your axis of rotation. I personally would not recommend squires unless you're quite young and not skiing very aggressively.

pivots are the best on the market and they have a short mounting zone so when your ski flexes the screws aren’t as affected as the screws on griffons or attacks are. When the ski flexes repeatedly (what vishnus are made for) normal bindings screws will move around in the hole and wear it out, then soon after the whole binding is bound to rip out.

Pivot 14s are ~5 lbs per pair, while griffons are ~4.5 lbs per pair. Its negligible however griffons are lighter.

I ride Pivots on all my skis however my only complaint is the foward pressure piece has cracked on every pair I've owned (pictured below).

Easily replaceable through warranty, however usually they need a remount. If for some reason you can't warranty them, they sell the brakes for 90-100$.

Great binding, however they need to make the piece metal :/

Yeah also hearing the griffons are heavy and not the pivots makes me question where OP is getting his information. Griffons are fine, lotta people hate on them but I skied them for years and never had an issue. I ski Pivots now because I mount my own skis and markers are a huge pain to do. Pivots are heavier than griffons but like chef boyardee said the weight is close to your boots and doesn’t translate to swing weight. Don’t get squires they’re dogshit

Pivots are definitely easier to mount, and just a superior binding imo. Also, I am a fan of the STH2. The raw pivot 15/18s would look sick on your plus's
