Ski Bag Help

I'm travelling in a week, and need a good ski bag. Do I need to get a padded one if I am going to be on a plane. I'm leaning towards not gettin a padded one, and just bettting that I'll be okay. Any suggestions? I'd prefer cheap, but I can get any ski bag for probably really cheap, I'd just prefer not to order it since I may not get it in time. Thanks for the help!

 
its not that big of a deal, just put straps on em so they dont scissor and other than that u dont really need anything special

That what I figured. I figure the airline couldn't abuse the skis anymore than a typical person does on a day in a terrain park.

 
when they put them through its special baggage so they handel it carefully, it doesnt go with the normal stuff.

or just take your skis, put straps on them (obv) and take some clothes like shirts and longsleeves and ish and use those for padding for your skis. this way, you have more room in your other bag for more clothes, i do it every time.
