Ski, art and culture blog (first post: Eric Pollard interview)

For anyone who is interested...

I'm starting a blog (yes a blog)... I'm well aware everyone and their mother has a blog--but hopefully this won't just be another collection of arbitrary bullshit that is going on in my life which is so much different than everyone else. No, hopefully this will be a collection of interviews with skiers, artists, designers, filmmakers, and writers who are contributing to the progression and evolution of the sport. As far as the art side goes... I'm currently going to art school in Portland, OR (PNCA) so I will basically cover the Portland art scene and will hopefully help local artists find some attention from viewers like you. I will also include anything that I find particularily interesting such as current music, films, websites, shows etc.

The website is called BUTTERFLY ORCHESTRA and is currently a .blogspot.com. But I bought the domain "butterflyorchestra.com"--I'm just working out the kinks before I make the switch.

So if you have any suggestions, criticism or feedback it would be most appreciated. Also if you wan't to contribute to the website in any way e-mail me-- butterflyorchestra@gmail.com. I'm up for anything. Maybe you are skier and you wan't an interview/ want me to post your "self edit" or whatever...email me! After all this website is for you!

Thankyou!

-Luke

Great stuff dude=) some constructive critisism; Don't write: EP - bla bla bla. I think most people understand who's asking and who's answering with the bold text

PNCA is pretty cool. There are usually some students displaying/selling stuff on first thursdays, I usually enjoy that. Good luck with the blog.

Sick stuff man. I am real excited to see the relationship between skiing and art being pushed. The two cultures have so many similarities and so much potential together.

And the street art videos were sick. I am finishing a semester in London and the street art culture here is so incredible and inspiring. So much cool stuff going on, street art is being pushed so much. I have a ton of photos if you're interested.

Can't wait to see what comes out of this.

great stuff man.

i realize it was the BBC and not you doing the videos, but i wish there was one with banksy.

Yeah, I'm sure they would have... but Banksy has somehow remained anonymous over the years. I don't know how he does it.
