Ski Area's near SF?

Does anyone know a website or somewhere that will tell me what ski areas are closest to San Fran. I am going to Mammoth for a week after SIA and will be flying out of SF although my buddy is leaving 2 days earlier so i want to make sure I can ski as much as possible.

Cheers guys and the reason I dont know where to start is because i live in New Zealand.

 
tahoe, tahoe and tahoe. just get on mapquest and get directions to truckee, better yet just get on the 80 and take it east. find a room in truckee and you'll find squaw, alpine meadows, boreal, northstar, etc. to be really close. have fun and respect.
 
Tahoe definitely, I am originally from just north of SF (marin) and it's about 3-4 hours from truckee. From there you have a huge range of good resorts to ski at.
 
Keep in mind Tahoe is sort of a region, with different ski areas within it. Just making sure you knew that; I didn't know if it was totaly clear.
 
Whatever you do, don't come all the way from NZ and only ski Boreal. Tahoe has much more to offer than a 500 foot hill. Drive the extra half hour and ski Squaw or Alpine.

It snowed like an inch there total last year........ at the very top, and that was the first time in like 4 years. I woke up and looked out my indow and was like "WTF, there's snow on Tam???". I almsot ditched school to try to sled on it but i realized there wasn't enough snow.
 
Cant really afford it although it would be wrong to come all that way for the shows and not ski. Just need to sort out a floor and passes now.
