Alright....so i need a pow ski this year since i just moved to PC, UT and was thinking of last years Prophet 100/this yrs Rossi S5/ or maybe the K2 Seth...Ive heard that the first two are suppose to be pretty much the same ski and then I hear that the Seth has been the best pow ski since it came out. I'll mostly be skiing pow in trees or some fresh stuff on some runs. So from that what do u guys think would b the best ski?

And...

This year i wanna b able to thro corks in the park. I can thro them on the tramp easily and was wondering if it is much different with ski weight. I can go to Olympic Park but then i have to sign up for some gey club and then pay 100 on top of that just to learn cork on skies. So basically im wondering if I can thro them on tramp will it be that much different that i need to relearn it on skies. And for park, whats the recommended kicker lenght to thro it off of?

Thanks for all advice

Well for cork 3's just come into and when you set your spin drop your inside shoulder (whatever way you spin) and keep it down and turn your head to spot your landing and the right as you are coming around with the three lift your shoulder and you should be upright again.

To make it really steezy carve the jump and do the same thing, it will cork you much more but if you hold on to it you can land if you freak out you will fall.

bro if your working on corks fuck the olympic park. one of the easier ways to cork is carving the lip, and you cant do that at all on water ramps. i'd say whats way better and cheaper than ramping if your just working on off axis spinning is powder. since you understand how to cork and can do so on a tramp. build a nice little pow booter on a good day and try em on that. otherwise you can balls up and just try them on park jumps, but thats obviously a little more risky

nt buy the Scratch S7. thats the cab one, right? dont do it. theyr like $1200 and my local shop had to return the pair they ordered cuz the sidewall was all bubbled like swiss fucking cheese. its rossi's first year with rockered skis, let them work out the kinks.

buy jj's, bacons, or seths

frankly i think the guys above me are wrong on the cork issue. if you can cork on a tramp you should be able to cork pretty easily on the snow, its exactly the same motion. it just takes some practice. I would learn with cork 7's first or cork 5's if your more comfortable with them on the tramp. And id start them without carving much if at all because thats closer to the way you do them on the tramp. and then if you get better at them you can start carving them.

just make sure to keep tucked up, best size jump to learn them would be 15-20 ft table id say

my 2c

also you could check the trick tip cult its open for anyone

i prefere longer and fatter skis for pow...

but i can recommend Ants and the salomon rocker...the last one is a really fat bitch and its an absolutely ease to surf the snow!!!

ive learned corks on a 40ft table with a 7-8ft booter...

just did my 7s and started to rotate a little off axis! throw about 5 720 that day, when ure really comfortable with that begin to drop your sholder... just a bit, and then more and more and again a bit more...then your on a dspin!!!

worked fine for me...
