im looking at two private ski academys up north. stratton mountain school and carabassett valley academy. i was wondering if anyone knew like tuition costs and course load and how tough admission is. thanks

word, and all they do is ski, in every season, no varied activities, thats why i chose gould, so i could still play lacrosse and do something else in the fall. i figured all that training would get boring to me, especially since its summer-long training programs and such

i got into gould and almost went but eastAR5 told me it was gay so i didnt so im goin to holderness instead aan we skin with the WVA kids

red ski academy

great hill, great town, great program

don't let the tuition fool you - the quality of the program is worth double the tuition.

whats his name? oh and the kid that said cva only has skiing they also have a soccer team, baseball, a skateboarding team, and a whitewater kayaking team.

Do you have to slay at skiing to go to these schools or are there kids that go that are just alright?

I got in to CVA for this season but couldn't come up with the tuition (with scholarship I needed $22,000) Its a really good school with awesome skiers. It's out in the middle of nowhere which was the only bad side. Both WVA's are sick though, Hathaway and the likes.

i know some cva kids theyre not stuck up at all... and to whoever said they just ski... you obviously never been to agc... dope trampolines and dope indoor skatepark.. and cva skiers are better than gould skiers

in the end it all comes down to money. For 30,000 dollars a year i decided to keep going to public school instead of putting my parents and myself thru chapter 11 bankruptcy. That being said, it is the best way to get really really good at skiing while still getting a decent education. as they say, price reflects quality

hahaha word sam

it was probably the single greatest year of my life, but thats only cause I was high the entire time, didnt do much work, skied everyday, managed to piss off almost every single teacher and staff and got kicked out with true honor.

WVA is the only one i would go to, if I was back in highschool and had a chance to do it again.

My biggest regret is the brunches every sunday. I miss Jamal, my omlet cook, we got pretty tight, he bought my alc once too and of course, he would hook it up with the DANKest custom omlets you have ever seen. Bacon, fresh sasuage, onions, cheese, scallions, etc. Wake and bake, roll down around 12:00 in my warm flannels, and eat until I wanted to pass out
