Ski Academys: Which are good?

My parents are considering letting me go to a ski academy next winter but they want to know more. Does anyone know good schools or the prices and how everything works at an academy?

WVA, it's pretty epxensive, but i don;t know the exact price

but you go to your normal school, then you can start at WVA in November(anytime through march), and go however many months you want basically, then at the end of your time at the academy you go back to your home school for the rest of the year

and during your time at WVA you go to school from 7:30-11:50 (on tuesday-friday) and then go skiing, mondays are days off and school starts at 8:30, ends at 12:50, and no skiing

weekends you just get up and ski, and you can go home or stay somewhere with your parents

Ski Academys are epic. Cheap too. For a mere 30 grand you can ski all day and live the life of a pro skier. i wouldnt suggest CVA or Waterville. The coaches and trampolines suck. Gould Academy on the other hand is an excellent choice. Pep and Dumont almost went there but they werent good enough. Check out the sexy alumni such as Rory Will and Dylan Hood. These guys are sooo good because this coach they have named Dave Bean. He is a pipe monster and even slides rails on his teles! Fatty Gup Unssssssssss!

you have to be real carefull what you go to. Some are definate 'camp for try hard kids to get sent to by their rich parents but people dont really improve' kinda things. but meh, what do i care i cant afford one for a while

KMS is good dybvig was coaching there i dont know whos gona coah this year but its cheaper then alot of the other schools and it has a small freeride team only 2 of us now

yeah, which is the same as some colleges, and if you end up being a pro and making enough money to live off of, you probably will end up getting all that money back just from skiing

what kind of average skier has the money to go to an academy? im not sure but most skiers are rich spoiled kids where they can afford to go to a 30,000 dollar academy for one year. i certainly dont

Im in 9th grade and I wanna transfer to a ski academy at the end of this year. I live in the bay area so a tahoe school would be ideal but it doesnt have to be. What school should i go to????
 
I hate ski acadamy kids unless they are super dope like Vanular when he was at cva. I ride the river and some of the gould kids really suck, especally considering how often they get to ski. If you go to CVA or GOULD and SUCK, your gonna hear it from me this season! hahaha
 
ahaha Gould academy is super awesome DEF go there for sure great way to spend $40000 and get put on probation and get kicked out for great reasons
 
im not against them... gould just pissed me off a lot. if things worked out id be in bethel right now but they didnt
 
i go to a regular academy, proctor, not a very strict one at that, and ski like 4 days a week plus sunday and we have 2 rails on campus and jib the gnar on mondays and fridays all winter. it satisfies me.
